AARON secure access enrolment

This page explains how to set up your secure VPN access to VERNCon services. It is for people who have been given an enrolment token by their administrator.

1. Get your token. Your administrator sends it to you once. It works one time and expires after 7 days. Do not share it.
2. Create your key on your own device. Your device (or the Aaron app) creates its private key and a certificate request locally. The private key never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
3. Send the request. The app sends the request and your token to this site. You receive a receipt number. Nothing else is explained on failure, so if it fails, ask your administrator.
4. Wait for approval. The app checks the status of your receipt: pending, ready or failed.
5. Download your package once. When it is ready, the app downloads your signed VPN package. It can be downloaded only once and is deleted after 48 hours.
6. Install the profile. Import the profile into your OpenVPN client and connect. Your access ends on the date your administrator set.

If you lose a device or think your token or package was seen by someone else, tell your administrator at once so the access can be revoked.
